Gumi hoodie guide

this is Gumi's hoodie in the video for her's and Miku's song Matryoshka <3 after countless hours looking for it online for sale with no end result, i asked a few nice people how they got theirs and so i decided to do what they did. MAKE IT! i'm not a very good artist but it came out perfeeeeect! so here's how i did it for those who would want one of your own so you know how

Step 1: draw outline in PENCIL

Step 2: start the black outline where you're most comfortable at (for me it was better to start from the top with the eyes)

Step 3: do the outline for the mouth FIRST then the teeth (trust me, having an outline for the teeth makes it WAY easier when you start using white AND it looks better)

Step 4: personally, i found it easier to fill the inside first such as the black for the inside of the mouth and eyes

Step 5: using the white fabric paint is tricky. with the black one, a little goes a LONG way it spreads out nice even if pressed down on and stays dark. the white had to be used with drops, if you press down on it AT ALL it starts to look like glue and become kind of see-through even if you give it 2 coats so be careful how you handle the white.

Step 6: the dots around the eyes was the easiest, just drop a TINY bit of black and move around the eye (if it helps, use the pencil outline to mark where the dots are gonna be)

the fabric paints i used i bought at Walmart for a few cents each you might be able to find them in more places if you check.

the paint takes about 4 to 5 hours to dry (i know what a dread @_@) so make sure to hang it BY THE HOOD so that it doesn't fold (don't worry the paint doesn't run just don't use TOO MUCH) after it dries if you find it necessary give it a 2nd coat but ONLY after its dry. and yes, the paint IS PERMANENT so it won't just wash off (just don't wash it at LEAST until 3 days after its done)
